As Strategic Buyer, you will be the architect of our raw material supply chain, navigating the complex world of global commodity markets to fuel our rapid scale-up. You will own your portfolio, from deep-dive market analysis to high-stakes negotiations, ensuring that our production remains resilient, sustainable, and cost-effective.

You will report directly to our Head of Procurement, Alessandra, working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where your strategic decisions directly impact our bottom line and our mission to decouple chocolate from deforestation.

• Own and manage an assigned portfolio of raw materials, constantly scouting for alternative suppliers on current product optimizations and future innovations
• Track and analyze raw material markets (specifically fats & oils, sunflower, and grains) to stay ahead of global trends and volatility
• Drive strategic decision-making in sourcing and investments, balancing risk with the opportunity to scale efficiently
• Partner closely with Supply Chain, R&D, and Quality Management to ensure our ingredients meet the highest standards of performance and sustainability
• Identify risks and opportunities by providing early warnings and trend forecasts that allow the leadership team to act proactively
• Build the data backbone of our procurement: maintain accurate raw material forecast models, create business cases, and present your findings in a tidy, organized, and visual way

• Procurement Professional: With a solid track record in strategic purchasing. You bring deep knowledge of commodity markets (grains, fats & oils) or a proven ability to master complex, volatile markets and a hunger to dive deep into the world of food commodities
• Analytical Excellence: You bring a strong commercial background and love turning complex market data into clear, actionable business cases
• Market Intuition: You understand how global markets work, from physical supply chains to the dynamics of raw material fluctuations
• Ownership & Drive: You are a proactive "doer" who doesn’t wait for instructions. You thrive in a demanding, direct environment and take full responsibility for your results
• Creative Problem Solver: You think outside the box to find creative solutions to sourcing bottlenecks or supply chain challenges
