About the job
The Strategic Initiatives team in our GTM Strategy and Operations function provides strategic, operational and analytical support to our Chief Revenue Officer and GTM leadership. In this role, you will help plan and manage critical GTM initiatives, cross-functional projects and sales plays and programs from end to end. We are looking for someone who thrives at marrying analytical thinking with sound program and stakeholder management to deliver results.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our GTM Strategic Initiatives team to support the design, execution, and optimization of sales plays and strategic programs. This role combines strong analytical rigor with program management expertise to drive sales effectiveness and revenue growth. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to develop scalable growth plays and initiatives that support GTMobjectives.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Sales Play Development: Design, implement, and optimize scalable sales plays aligned with business goals, targeting specific customer segments, industries, or product lines.
- Program Management: Manage the lifecycle of sales programs—from strategy and planning through execution, measurement, and iteration.
- Analytics & Insights: Use data to evaluate program impact, optimize sales motions, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders; develop dashboards and reports as needed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, Product, and Operations to align programs with GTM strategy and ensure successful execution.
- Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and success metrics for each program and monitor performance against targets.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate on content, training, and resources to ensure sales teams understand and effectively execute plays.
- Continuous Improvement: Iterate on sales plays and program elements based on feedback, performance data, and market trends.

*Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field;
- 3 - 5 years of experience in program management, sales operations, or GTM strategy in a B2B environment.
- You bring proven success in designing and executing high-impact initiatives and programs, preferably to drive revenue or growth
- You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You are excited about rolling up your sleeves and getting stuff done
- You are metrics driven and know how to leverage data insights to inform decisions
- You are curious and proactively seek out solutions to problems or inefficiencies with analysis and process/systems improvements
- You have familiarity with Salesforce, sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft), and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira).
Desired:
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Experience in enterprise SaaS or technology sales environments.
- Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales cycles and buyer journeys.
- Ability to translate data into storytelling that drives strategic decisions.
Location
- This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 5% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

Compensation
*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $94,700.00 - $118,400.00.
- Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $100,300.00 - $125,300.00.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $111,400.00 - $139,200.00.
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
