THE JOURNEY

  • Understand Morocco's operational challenges in order to adapt the strategy and maximise the results
  • Lead and develop a team of 3-5 individuals
  • Oversee directly multiple areas of responsibility: Couriers experience and growth, operational excellence (including courier profitability and incentives management, supply and demand balance, delivery times optimization, etc…) , partner operations..
  • Lead cross functional project leadership through the different areas of the scope
  • Analyse business performance, set and measure KPIs, identifying issues and potential improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with other teams such as: Growth, Commercial, Quick commerce, Finance, Operations, People and Legal 
  • Identify needs and prepare reports to be shared with the business.
  • Contribute to growth analysis, identifying possible levers.
  • Propose (be an enthusiast), track and consolidate new ideas to improve the operations by being obsessed with Glovo's KPIs
  • Create postmortem documents to analyse the results of each project and be able to replicate them for future projects & with rest of the countries
  • Have a blank page for you to create! We don't stick to a single playbook, and we expect you to build your own as the business and market evolves
  • Report directly to the Head of Operations
  • Be the Head of Operations right-hand in any strategic decision

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 3-5 years of experience in top-tier management consulting and/or corporate strategy/operations role for a fast-growing global operating tech company
  • 2-3 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Experience leading cross functional team
  • Excellent project coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communications skills to report to different stakeholders
  • Ability to make effective decisions and solve problems proactively.
  • Data-driven mentality: takes decision based on data and makes business judgement when necessary
  • You’re an owner, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented
  • You ensure the highest standards for you and your team with the deliverables and business objectives
  • You are always a step ahead, proactive with potential problems/opportunities and always thinking how to be better
  • Ability to use business data analysis tools such as Looker and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent English, spoken and written
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
