We are seeking a Strategy & Engagement Manager to join our Digital Transformation Group (DTG. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing communications strategies that support DTG’s initiatives and programs, both internally within DTG and company-facing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create content that drives engagement, informs employees, and highlights the business value DTG creates.

This role will involve crafting communication plans for major digital initiatives, supporting executive communications, and driving internal employee programs that enhance DTG culture and drive objectives. You will be a key player in ensuring DTG’s message is clear, consistent, and aligned with the overall company strategy.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

DTG Communications
  • Collaborate with DTG teams to develop and implement communication plans for key projects and initiatives that impact employees and customers.
  • Manage and maintain a communications calendar to ensure a consistent flow of information and avoid overlapping announcements across DTG and other teams.
  • Create, edit, and publish news articles and knowledge content that informs and engages employees and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the Pure Employee Communications team for review and approval of company-wide communications.
  • Maintain and update DTG’s company-facing intranet site, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and relevant.
Executive-Level Communications
  • Draft quarterly updates from the Chief Digital Transformation Officer (CDTO) to the Executive Staff, highlighting key milestones and achievements of DTG initiatives.
  • Support executive communications for major initiatives, including the creation of one-off communications for launches or program milestones.
  • Assist in the creation of presentations for the executive leadership team, ensuring that messaging is clear and aligns with broader corporate goals.
DTG Internal Employee Communications
  • Contribute to the development and dissemination of the DTG Operating Model, including documentation, training, and organizational communication.
  • Lead internal communication efforts to enhance DTG employee engagement, including managing logistics and communications for various internal programs:
    • All-Hands to ensure organizational strategic alignment.
    • Rewards Program to recognize employee contributions.
    • New-Hire Program to streamline onboarding.
    • Spotlight Sessions to highlight DTG teams and successful partnerships from across the business.
    • Hackathons to drive a culture of continuous innovation.
  • Prepare and send organization-wide communications on behalf of the CDTO, ensuring alignment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within a technology or digital transformation context.
  • Proven track record in creating and executing communication strategies that engage internal audiences and drive organizational change.
  • Experience in managing communication across multiple platforms (intranet, email, presentations, etc.) with a focus on clarity and impact.

Skills:

  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell a cohesive story which highlights business value created by DTG organization for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets) and Slack.
  • Experience with communication and knowledge-sharing tools like HubSpot and ServiceNow Knowledge.
  • Comfort with a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a willingness to adapt as new challenges arise.
  • Knowledge of digital transformation trends and familiarity with corporate change management processes is a plus.

 

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

 

The annual base salary range is: $149,000 – $224,000. 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
