Databricks is seeking a Strategy and Execution Director to operationalize the Databricks corporate strategy by leading the design, implementation and optimization of processes, and engagement models. In this role, you will drive cross functional alignment to scale the business for continued hyper-growth. Successful candidates for the role will possess both a strategic business outlook, ability to design processes to scale and the keen analytical skills to be able to look at the data into the details and requirements of various strategic initiatives, while understanding the bigger picture and business objectives. We are building a team that is more interested in getting it right than being right. We care more about winning the game than who scored the points.
This role will report into the AVP, Strategy and Execution within the central Corporate Operations function.
Impact You’ll Have
- Identifies opportunity areas and drives cross-functional outcomes to grow and scale Databricks
- Design E2E scalable solutions, weaving together process design, operating model definition, automation, and/or AI levers to optimize your answer.
- Measure quantifiable impact of the outcomes implemented and create well defined KPIs to ensure successful execution of transformations and sustainable improvement.
- Own operationalizing and delivering on the business outcome in conjunction with cross functional business partners, while driving alignment with senior leadership
- Enable a tailored approach to meet the customer / business needs by adjusting behavior and outcomes based on the dynamics of the team, stakeholder, and program situation(s)
- Be self-driven, and show ability to drive decisions on ambiguous asks with incomplete data.
Who You Are
- 8+ years of experience in driving strategic initiatives across many functions, influencing stakeholders VP+
- Experience in business process improvement, business transformations or corporate strategy with time at a top tier consulting firm is a plus.
- Consultative approach, including ability to analyze process flows, identify operational metrics
- Deep understanding or expertise in one or more business process areas (idea to offering, demand to quote, hire to retire, etc)
- Advanced research and analysis skills that you can flex to address a complex problem and/or situation
- Demonstrate an advanced ability to define and break down ambiguous and complex business problems
- Communicate complex ideas with authority, influencing stakeholders including Databricks executives and department leadership.
- Experience in the enterprise software industry, SaaS and B2B experience preferred.
- Comfortable and thrive in a rapidly scaling and dynamic startup environment
- Bachelor's Degree required

Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
