About The Role
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of product strategies.
  • Business Communications: Drive streamlined and effective communications to the broader organization related to product operations.
  • Tool and System Management: Oversee the procurement and administrative management of tools and systems that support product development and operations.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and generate insights to guide decision-making, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on trends and success metrics.
  • Process Improvement and Documentation: Drive process improvement and simplification wherever possible. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of product operations processes, best practices, and lessons learned.
What You’ll Do
  • Support senior leadership by driving the execution and tracking of business strategy, ensuring alignment across key initiatives.
  • Key responsibilities include managing strategic planning processes, quarterly reporting, and operational business planning and measurement.

  • Collaborate with Leaders: Establish strong working relationships with a wide range of leaders and business teams. 
  • Coordinate and Publish Vision and Strategy: Lead the process of developing and publishing the organizational vision and strategy in concert with business leaders, aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead Key Strategic Programs: Partner with the leadership team to align and execute against the defined vision, strategy, and strategic promises. Balance leading key programs and building strategies to ensure growth and scalability.
  • Leadership Messaging: Collaborate with Communications teams to drive leadership messaging across the organization.
  • Track Strategy Execution: Create and monitor a strategy execution roadmap, assessing strategy and providing analytical insights related to company financials and business metrics.
  • Program Management
  • Design and Deliver Programs: Organize and lead the end-to-end delivery of multi-functional, interconnected programs aligned with key business objectives. Lead working group meetings, resolving issues and dependencies with key partners.
  • Manage the Rhythm of the Business: Create and manage the organizational calendar of meetings, events, and checkpoints related to strategy development and program planning. Track company goals, objectives, and initiatives. Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional interlocks. 
  • Manage Risks: Proactively identify and communicate risks to appropriate audiences, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Measure Success: Define success metrics, track progress, and communicate results to internal teams and external partners. Prepare status reports and executive briefings to keep senior leaders informed on program performance.
  • Change Management: Own and lead organizational change management activities related to strategy & planning programs.

  • Data-Driven: Serious about data and information that drives decision-making with an ability to translate data into strategic insights, measure results, and constantly look for improvements. 
  • Adaptable: Comfortable working in a dynamic/changing environment with ability to juggle and manage multiple programs simultaneously and/or prioritize appropriately.
  • Experience Desired Program Management: 5+ years of solid experience as a Program/Project Manager or Operations leader. 
  • Leadership: Experience leading others through complex processes, programs, or organizational changes.
  • Influencing Skills: Exposure to environments where strong influencing skills are crucial to success.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace, Jira, 
  • Confluence, Aha!; working understanding of program management software (e.g., Basecamp, MS Project) is a plus.
  • Technical experience in networking, security, and Cloud technologies is advantageous, but not required. Strategy to Execution: General strategy, business operations and reporting, and cross-functional program execution experiences are beneficial.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. hiring location. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
