YOUR MISSION

Glovo (glovoapp.com) is looking for a passionate, proactive, data-driven and hands-on professional to support our LiveOps Strategy department in our headquarters in Barcelona. 

You will play a key role in shaping Glovo’s LiveOps strategy as well as working on critical strategic projects across the Customer vertical. Expect the work to be challenging, varied, and analytical.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead key transversal projects at LO like the semestral Masterplan tracking and achievement, defining departmental targets, focus areas and drive progress within all LO departments ensuring alignment and providing support for all leads when projects need action plans and escalation. 
  • Support the LO directors analyze LiveOperations transversal costs, users frictions and potential improvements. You will do this through analytically based proposals (with previous deep dive work) easy to be shared with main stakeholders. Continue to build out our robust operations, customer oriented service and data tracking to ensure added insight with each iteration
  • You’ll guide the LiveOps leadership into the low hanging fruit opportunities and main gaps of performance that need strategic focus Some examples could include support identifying user frictions across all Ops flow, developing new governance models for our LO vendors, driving agent efficiency gains with our operations team, and much more. Expect to work on anything transversal and important that needs some complex problem-solving support
  • Work directly with all LiveOps leads and heads driving the strategic projects of the department, helping to map out how we achieve Glovo’s Ops and LO vision, influencing decisions of investment spend, which opportunities should be prioritized and why, and supporting with quarterly planning and performance monitoring.
  • Evaluate (and sometimes test) completely new business concepts (e.g. WoW project), all supporting our vision to provide an amazing and digitally enabled customer experience. Become an expert in transversal projects and drive thinking within the business on new opportunities. Define the why, how, and then go test it.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  •  3-5 years of experience in positions related to data analysis, strategy, operational and financial analysis
  • Understand the operations model in Glovo to provide advice to the different teams
  • Consolidated SQL skills, plus G-suite proficiency (sheets, slides) and strong excel skills
  • Ability to understand and frame a wide range of problems and opportunities, identifying key questions to answer, breaking them down into logical components, executing high-quality quantitative analysis, and delivering practical insights/recommendations
  • Able to communicate results to key stakeholders in a concise and clear manner (in writing and orally)
  • Ability to turn strategic insights into actions, by structuring and leading projects. Build hypotheses and test them (sometimes by piloting new businesses entirely)
  • Ability to support or lead execution of company/regional/country priorities, coordinating between relevant parties, ensuring rigorous tracking of objectives, proposing improvements along the way
  • Great stakeholder management skills
  • Consulting experience is a plus
  • Strong strategic vision, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working in a high growth and high performance start-up with a fast pace
  • Itchy feet and continuous thrive on learning through different projects
