THE ROLE

As the Strategy and Ops Manager - Advanced Services, you will serve as the strategic engine for the Advanced Services (AS) team, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and operational execution. You will act as a key advisor to leadership, driving the mission of creating a data-driven, scalable service organization through rigorous resource planning and performance governance. By collaborating across Business Intelligence, Finance, and Global Delivery teams, you will ensure our most critical initiatives—from AI automation to workforce optimization—are executed with precision and transparency.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Architect Workforce & Resource Strategy: Own the end-to-end demand forecasting and capacity modeling for our global delivery teams to ensure we have the right talent ready to meet sales pipeline and backlog commitments.
  • Govern Operational Performance: Design and manage executive-level scorecards and KPIs that monitor delivery health, utilization, and SLA performance, translating complex data into actionable insights for Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks, standardize global workflows, and reduce cycle times.
  • Execute Strategic Communications & Change: Orchestrate the organizational "heartbeat" by leading All Hands meetings, executive updates, and change management communications to ensure alignment and engagement across the global AS workforce.
  • Modernize Decision Analytics: Partner with Engineering and BI teams to automate reporting workflows, shifting the organization from manual data gathering to proactive, self-service predictive analytics.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 7–10 years of experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Program/Project Management (PMO), Service Delivery Operations, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting Professional Services, Advanced Services (AS), or global delivery organizations.
  • Operational Leadership: Extensive experience leading business operations, program management, or service delivery within a global professional services or technology environment.
  • Strategic Resource Management: Mastery of workforce planning and capacity modeling, with a proven ability to align headcount and budgets with fluctuating market demands.
  • Analytical Storytelling: Expert-level ability to interpret complex datasets using tools like Tableau or Excel to influence executive decision-making and drive organizational accountability.
  • Process & Program Governance: Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation projects and applying process improvement frameworks (such as Lean, Kaizen, or Agile) to increase operational efficiency.
  • Communications Influence: Exceptional skill in executive communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and lead organizational change across diverse teams.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Raleigh, North Carolina office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
