Chewy is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager, Transportation to join our team in Plantation FL. You will be responsible for driving transportation initiatives across dedicated fleets, one way truckload, less than truckload, and small parcel to improve cost and service metrics. You will get the opportunity to create and lead a programmatic roadmap through clear business requirements partnering closely with transportation operations, network operations, systems and tech, planning, procurement, FC operations, finance, S&OP, inventory planning, and third-party carrier providers. A candidate for this position must bring a collaborative approach to the table, and experience working in a fast-paced environment using data to drive decision making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills with success driving action from business insights.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own programmatic transportation initiatives by creating business requirement documents, creating metrics that drive cost and service, and collaborative across a matrixed organization with cross functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmap(s) to motivate change within the transportation operation that align with business objectives
  • Use data to perform analysis and transform those insights into clear requirements to drive transportation operations/programs enhancements, new features, and new tools
  • Develop and maintain metrics to monitor performance of transportation initiatives and measure impact of enhancements/features
  • Perform root cause analysis, develop and implement corrective action plans to drive service and cost improvements across the network
  • Apply data to understand business objectives and identify defects; transform those insights into clear actions to drive cost and service levels improvements.
  • Demonstrate your communication skills to partner cross functionally within supply chain partners to measure outcomes from recommendations and actions taken

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years functional experience in performing analysis, creating business requirements documents, and leading change management roadmaps across a matrix organization
  • 3+ years of program and/or project management experience 
  • Experience in an e-commerce environment, preferably in transportation, supply chain and/or operations 
  • Analytical skills including SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel, including the ability to pull data and use to identify and solve ambiguous problems
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • BS or Master's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics, or equivalent
  • Position may require travel

Bonus (if applicable):

  • Transportation engineering experience
  • Experience with methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma
