We are looking for a Systems Administrator to set up and manage a mobile device management (MDM) solution to be used with BYOD (bring your own device) mobile phones. In this role, you will drive success, efficiency, and security through the selection of the solution and will be responsible for the setup and primary management, including integrations with Okta. Additionally, this position will be responsible for management of JAMF, which is used to manage our Apple device environment mostly consisting of macs. You'll be empowered to discover gaps and drive solutions, expand your skillset to work with cloud platforms in AWS, GCP, Azure and work with identity management solutions in Okta and Active Directory.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Own the build, deployment, policies, and integrations related to mobile device management at LogicMonitor
  • Play a critical role in the support of all IT owned infrastructure
  • Maintain the latest OS versions for macOS, iOS, Android operating systems, and installed third party software on macOS
  • Maintain licensing for our MDM platforms
  • Work in Okta and closely with our Okta admin to ensure proper security and management is in place for mobile devices; ensure authentication policies in okta are adhering to our overall policy as they pertain to mobile device access
  • Work closely with the IT Support team as a mentor and escalation point
  • Work closely with the IT Engineering and Information Security teams to support projects and initiatives
  • Develop processes for continuity, patch management, software deployments, and other tasks
What You'll Need:
  • 3 years experience managing macOS devices in JAMF or equivalent to JAMF 200 knowledge proven in real world scenarios
  • 2 years experience as system owner for managing BYOD; includes managing both iPhone and Android mobile phones/devices
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and internal IT Support team to understand issues and create solutions
  • Knowledge of authentication in IAM and SSO such as SAML or OIDC.
  • 2+ years experience deploying software, policies, and configuration to devices

  • Experience deploying or rolling out a new BYOD solution to Employees
  • Ability to streamline enrolment of BYOD in MDM
  • Experience limiting app access from BYOD to internal resources or company controlled SaaS applications
  • Experience managing windows and/or Linux servers\
  • Experience managing resources in AWS
