We opened our R&D Second Home (besides the one in Silicon Valley) in Prague in January 2020 and since then we have experienced unbelievable growth. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

You will be responsible for design, development and expansion of BI reports that support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and reporting. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful dashboards and reports that help drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. Deep experience building dashboard and data savviness and a keen understanding of data management life-cycle is critical for this role. Crisp communication and the ability to influence decisions is also important.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE...

  • Collaborate with Product Management team, Architects, POs and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data visualizations using Tableau.
  • Design and develop complex, interactive, and aesthetically pleasing Tableau dashboards that provide meaningful insights.
  • Create and maintain data connections, data extracts, and data models in Tableau to ensure efficient data retrieval and visualization.
  • Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for performance and user experience.
  • Administration of the tableau Platform, including but not limited to user access, user group sets. 
  • Assist in data preparation, cleaning, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Tableau solutions, including data sources, calculations, and visualization best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Tableau reports and dashboards.
  • Stay up-to-date with Tableau best practices, updates, and new features to continuously improve our analytics capabilities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior Tableau developers and analysts.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING...

  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and building Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and retrieval. Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and familiarity with various databases.
  • Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in understanding and interpreting complex data.
  • Knowledge of best practices for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience with data modelling and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of data.

You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
