At Glovo we are looking for a passionate and hands-on Tax Compliance Associate that will be part of the tax team.THE JOURNEY

  • Manage the tax calculation process of different international Glovo companies including CIT, VAT, NRIT, WHT or local taxes, among others
  • Monitor other tax compliance matters, including the communications with the local tax authorities, day to day issues / queries arising in relation to the business operations, etc.
  • Give support on international tax compliance matters of Glovo across different countries
  • Support in the global tax reporting tasks (e.g. preparation of mid year tax planning, reporting of end of the year CIT estimates, etc.)
  • Support other tax team members with situations involving cross-country operations
  • Provide tax support to different stakeholders such as Finance, Marketing, Engineers, Sales, etc.
  • Be in contact with local tax advisors for your day-to-day-job
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role or in a Big Four or a Law firm
  • Proven tax knowledge and familiar to work with other jurisdictions
  • Problem solving skills and get things done attitude
  • Used to working with strict deadlines
  • Efficiency, flexibility and proactiveness
  • Team worker
  • Organized and detail-oriented person
  • Ambition, curiosity, self-motivation and a positive and proactive approach to work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced English. Other languages are a plus
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
