YOUR MISSION

As an Team Lead Account Manager in the Long Tail team, you will lead a high-performing team of account managers driving business growth for small and medium enterprises on Glovo. The main focus is to foster a collaborative and performing culture that consistently achieves and surpasses ambitious sales targets, while maintaining a healthy balance on career and skills development. 

THE JOURNEY

  • Drive, inspire, and develop the sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets according to the business strategy
  • Define and pursue the long-term strategy for the S&M partners in terms of Growth, Promotions, Advertisement and Operations.
  • Creation of report and analysis to monitor metrics and KPIs through Salesforce tool to enhance overall team efficiency and find opportunities for improvement revenue growth
  • Enhance team skills providing training and mentorship, fostering teamwork, giving regular feedback, encouraging open communication, recognizing achievements, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Cooperate with the acquisition team to better optimize partner life cycle through improved communication and joint strategies
  • Stay up to date with market and competitive developments.
  • Contribute actively to the teams’ development and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make the difference
  • Generate best practices and processes which can be replicated across all areas
  • Lead by example in accordance to our values and set high standards for the team

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • You have a solid experience (5+ years) in fast-paced environments (startup, investment banking, top consulting firms or top tech companies)
  • Relevant experience leading cross functional teams with 4+ people
  • A data-driven mentality, taking decisions based on data and using good business judgment when necessary
  • You're persuasive in the most pleasant possible way and have no trouble selling anything that brings value to customers/partners and the Glovo platform.
  • You've got a good judgment and assertiveness and own up to your mistakes facing any situation with an optimistic approach.
  • You're extremely curious and have a desire to acquire a deep understanding on new topics.
  • You find smart and elegant solutions to complex and multi-disciplinary challenges with a great critical-thinking.
  • You're extremely agile and thrive in ambiguous environments
  • You are always respectful, kind and fair. All of your current and former reports speak highly of you as a manager and leader
  • You have an ambition that makes some people think you're crazy because you are ahead of the edge while inspiring the vast majority.
  • You’re an owner, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented with a hands-on spirit.
  • Excellent English and Italian. Spanish is a plus.
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude across the business and the industry.
