The WowAs a Technical Interviewing Partner, you will play a mission-critical role in identifying and evaluating world-class software developers. Leveraging your experience of full-stack software development - across Frontend frameworks and .NET and C# - you will interview candidates and deliver high-calibre technical assessments that go beyond surface-level vetting.
You’ll act as a technical gatekeeper, embedded within Betsson Group’s Technical Recruitment Committee (TRC). Your focus? To ensure consistency, rigor, and technical depth in our hiring process by standardising evaluation methods and raising the bar for technical excellence across our teams.
You’ll work closely with Product Development, and Talent Acquisition, helping to shape the future of our technical hiring strategy.
A flavour of what you'll be doing- Technical Assessments: Conduct technical interviews that assess coding ability, technical knowledge, problem-solving, and technical decision-making.
- Role-Centric Evaluation Design: Collaborate with product development teams to tailor interview criteria to real-world role requirements from full-stack development to DevOps and cloud-native architecture.
- Structured Feedback & Calibration: Deliver actionable, bias-resistant feedback to hiring teams. Maintain hiring consistency through detailed scoring rubrics and evaluation models.
- Process Innovation: Improve the hiring funnel by helping to introduce new tools, metrics, and methods that streamline decision-making and reduce time-to-hire without sacrificing quality.
- Market Alignment: Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in technical assessment. Regularly update our processes to reflect evolving engineering standards.
- Technical Pedigree: Background as a software developer with relevant qualifications or experience.
- Hands-On Experience: Documented previous experience in technical interviewing and assessing candidates.
- Tech Stack Expertise: Knowledge of .NET, C#, and modern frontend development frameworks. Broad understanding of software design patterns, system architecture, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
- Team-Oriented: Comfortable working across departments, aligning hiring processes with broader product and organisational needs.
