The Team

As our Technical Manager, Enterprise Systems, you'll be a key member of the Enterprise Systems team, and report to the Manager, Enterprise Systems.  We focus on understanding our business partners’ and stakeholders’ challenges and implementing innovative technology solutions to transform their capabilities.  

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 4-6 talented admins and developers. Your primary focus will be on the Salesforce platform, with a specific emphasis on CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), marketing tools, and Netsuite integration.

  • Manage and inspire a team of 4-6 admins/developers, fostering a collaborative work environment and providing mentorship/guidance for team members.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects - monthly releases and special projects - related to Salesforce/CPQ, marketing tools, and Netsuite integration.
  • Technical design and implement scalable architecture solutions, customizing as necessary, while advocating for best practices.
  • Identify and proactively lead risk areas and opportunities for process improvement; commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolution.
  • Provide and guide issue resolution in UAT and post production support.
  • Show skill and thought in making cost benefit tradeoffs in software procurement and delivering needed functionality.
  • Manage contractor resources effectively - including receiving time sheets and progress reports and validating invoices.
  • Remove technical debt and reduce brittleness of systems, always considering the scalability of systems both in performance and maintenance
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Salesforce/CPQ, marketing tools, and Netsuite.
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.

What we're looking for

  • Possess deep technical knowledge of Salesforce, with a focus on customization, configuration, and development.
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
  • Expertise in various Salesforce CPQ functionalities such as perpetual and subscription-based licensing, various discounting models, amendments, extensions, co-terming and renewals.
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce CPQ product configuration, complex pricing rules and sequence, quote configurator plugins, and Salesforce CPQ APIs.
  • Experience in architecting and designing full stack solutions using Salesforce.
  • Experience as a Technical Lead / Manager leading teams in Salesforce environments and mentoring direct reports.
  • Salesforce certifications - Salesforce Certified Application and/or System Architect preferred.
  • Experience with integrations, Netsuite integration preferred.
