Technical Product Manager - Networking
We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
You will define the future of Pure's networking and cloud connectivity architecture, bridging our on-premises storage portfolio with the agility of the public cloud. This high-impact role drives the product strategy for network access, security, and edge integration across our FlashArray and FlashBlade solutions. You'll champion our customers' success by collaborating closely with top-tier engineering teams to deliver mission-critical, simple, and secure data services.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for network access, security architecture, and cloud/edge connectivity, translating business objectives into technical product requirements and roadmaps.
-
Deliver high-impact features related to L2/L3 switching, routing, firewalls, VPN, and Zero Trust networking that simplify operations and enhance the security posture of our storage solutions.
-
Drive product delivery from investigation to market success, ensuring timely execution, quality, and adoption by setting program goals, tracking metrics, and leading cross-functional teams to overcome obstacles.
-
Articulate and prioritize technical trade-offs (e.g., between FCP, iSCSI, NVMe over Fabrics) and guide engineering to optimize performance, stability, and customer experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) design.
-
Act as the single point of contact for the program, communicating program status, decisions, and risks to executive stakeholders and ensuring alignment across functional groups.
WHAT YOU BRING
-
Deep Technical Acumen in Networking & Security: Proven expertise with the full network stack, including L2/L3 protocols, network infrastructure (e.g., DNS, DHCP), network security, and Zero Trust architecture for both managed services and cloud connectivity.
-
Product Vision & Outcome Ownership: Demonstrated success as a big picture owner who can set clear goals, drive accountability, and deliver tangible results in a fast-paced technology environment.
-
Storage and Data Center Knowledge: Strong understanding of storage protocols (FCP, iSCSI, NVMe) and concepts like network virtualization (ESXi) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) to integrate network architecture effectively with our storage platform.
-
Program & Stakeholder Leadership: Exceptional ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, write detailed technical specifications/PRDs, manage the entire SDLC, and proactively communicate with both technical and non-technical groups.
-
Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
