Your Mission at CYCLEAs a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will report directly to the Hardware Lead, playing a key role in managing and driving hardware development programs. This is a highly cross-functional position that requires collaboration across design, engineering, quality, compliance, supply chain, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for guiding projects from the initial concept stage through to mass production, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a TPM at CYCLE, your responsibilities include:
- Project Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed hardware project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Budget and Cost Tracking: Monitor and control project budgets, tracking expenses to ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Workstream Prioritization: Coordinate and prioritize engineering tasks to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Design Phase Reviews: Lead design reviews at critical project stages to ensure alignment with quality, safety, and performance standards.
- Risk Management: Proactively track and mitigate product risks to minimize delays and avoid potential issues.
- BOM Management: Oversee Bill of Materials (BOM) management and ensure accuracy in BOM changes.
- Change Control: Manage and implement changes to existing products, maintaining consistency and quality throughout.
- NPI Program Development: Lead the creation and execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs to ensure seamless product launches.
- Process Development: Build and optimize processes for effective risk management and critical path tracking.
- International Collaboration: Travel internationally to manufacturing facilities and work closely with supply chain partners in Asia and Europe to ensure alignment and execution.
- Mass Production Expertise: Proven experience in developing and delivering hardware products at scale, from concept through mass production.
- Hardware and Electronics Knowledge: Strong technical background in hardware and electronics development.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a hardware engineering environment, with a solid grasp of technical challenges and solutions.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to communicate effectively across multiple cultures, especially with international teams.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Detail-Oriented and Deadline-Driven: Ability to manage complex projects with a focus on details and meeting deadlines.
- Location: Based in Berlin, with the ability to travel internationally as required.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; German is not required but considered a plus.
