Within Lyft is the Bikes & Scooters team (you may know many of us as PBSC), who is focused on driving forward Lyft’s mission through micro-mobility. We have bike and scooter share systems in over 50 cities around the world – including Bixi in Montreal!

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Technical Recruiter to help us strategically grow our world-class team in Montreal. As the primary Recruiter in Montreal, your primary focus will be on technical roles, but you’ll stretch into hiring G&A and operations roles as well. You should bring a level of gravitas and polish while embodying our fun, friendly culture. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will be critical to creating a seamless recruiting process to help Lyft scale.

Please note that this is a 6 month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for all hiring in Montreal across multiple pipelines, ensuring a seamless, uniform and incredibly positive candidate experience
  • Partner with internal clients to develop sourcing strategy for current and future needs
  • Innovate on ways to build a talent pipeline and recruit in a variety of venues
  • Build strong pipeline to source and connect with potential candidates
  • Source candidates from relevant networks, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research
  • Work internally with Lyft hiring managers to understand positions and team needs
  • Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring managers and any relevant stakeholders and working cross-functionally with legal, compensation/benefits, immigration, etc.
  • Create job descriptions, role profiles, and offer packages based on the position and company requirements
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Technical recruiting experience, in-house and/or agency
  • Sourcing candidates through multiple creative channels (web, social, professional networks, etc.)
  • Has built and maintained a broad network of talent
  • Exposure to high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Experience hiring diverse teams
  • Is bilingual in French and English 
Languages:
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French and English is required for this position as this role requires interaction with Lyft employees and stakeholders in other Canadian provinces and Lyft offices globally.
