About The Team:The mission of our team is to provide 1st level support to all of our fulfillment systems (WMS,WCS, etc.) at our automated production site in Derby (with occasional work in our German facility in Barleben on a quarterly basis). You will be part of a new warehouse software implementation team, working cross functionally with your stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of warehouse operation procedures by being the first point of contact for system inquiries.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide live support for our WCS (Warehouse Control System) & WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Identify and recommend change controls to support operational enhancements and fixes, as well as specify and deliver local reporting requirements
  • Set up dashboards to support system analysis and system monitoring
  • Continuously review software systems and initiate and implement improvements through enhancements and/or change requests
  • Determine resolution paths for critical issues with suppliers and internal development teams
  • Create work instructions, standard operating procedures, training materials for WMS & WCS, and ensure comprehensive reporting is in place

Who You Are:

  • Experience with WCS/WMS driven production environments
  • Successfully completed a university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Engineering (or similar practical work experience)
  • Good knowledge of SQL, are data-driven and adept at creating analyses & reports
  • Understanding of Supply Chain processes and technology.
  • Great interest in operational processes and their continual improvement
  • Capable of working independently, structured and conscientiously, consistently meeting deadlines

Location: Smart parc, Spondon, Derby, DE21 7HW (On-Site)

Working Schedule: 42 hours per week. AM and PM working 5 out of 7 days, rotating weekly.
