Technology Lead - M&M'S

Critical Mass is seeking a Technology Lead with strong full-stack experience and some AI/ML experience. As a pivotal member of a growing team, the Technology Lead will collaborate with Creative, Strategy, Marketing Science, Project Management, and Client Services to deliver best-in-class integrated experiences. The Technology Lead guides all technical aspects of client work - delivering what's known - while pushing the limits of what's possible in the rapidly evolving space of machine learning and AI. The Technology Lead will lead the day-to-day technology team across ML engineering, MLOps, front-end development, and QA.

You will

  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team to design, develop, and deliver ground-breaking experiences

  • Work closely with project delivery to gather requirements, define technical scope, estimate the level of effort, and deliver

  • Work closely with ML Engineering & Ops to define solution architectures

  • Lead code reviews across the discipline enforcing best practices for a global brand

  • Provide hands-on support and mentorship for the team

  • Discuss and explain deeply technical concepts with audiences of varying technical experience

  • Deliver sustainable solutions using AI/ML using client-approved base models

 

You have

  • 5+ years previous experience working as a Senior Software Engineer

  • Flexibility and curiosity

  • Full-stack experience with an opinion, but willing to defer to the team while informing their decisions

    • Python experience

    • JavaScript experience

    • Database experience

    • Azure experience

  • Experience leading a full-stack development team including DevOps and QA

  • A strong understanding of the AI/ML space and the drive to deliver solutions in rapidly evolving technologies

 

Nice to have

  • Experience with a headless CMS and GraphQL

  • Experience working in an agency and/or creative and/or technical consultancy environment

  • Experience working within and debugging Jupyter Notebooks
