Total Rewards Analyst

The Total Rewards Analyst is responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and supporting the administration of total rewards programs and strategies for Lyft. They play a crucial role in managing the ongoing operations of various compensation and benefits programs, policies, and vendor relationships, and serve as a primary resource for our LOA programs.
Responsibilities:- LOA and Benefits Program Support
- Administer U.S. and global employee leave programs, coordinating closely with vendors, payroll, and internal partners.
- Respond efficiently to leave-related inquiries, including extensions, accommodations, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of leave data, ensuring accurate tracking and timely return-to-work processes.
- Manage daily benefit processes, audits, and error resolution between Workday and external benefit partners.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve benefits-related system and eligibility issues.
- Maintain data accuracy across Workday and vendor platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Prudential).
- Provide timely support and clear communication to employees on general benefit inquiries.
- Complete required state, carrier, and internal compliance reports.
- Regularly audit and reconcile benefits and leave data for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Lyft (People, Finance, Legal)
- Compensation Program Support
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to gather data on compensation trends, practices, and competitive pay rates for various job positions. Analyze and interpret data to evaluate the organization's compensation competitiveness and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Approve and ensure accuracy of compensation adjustments such as equity grants, spot bonuses, etc.
- Assist with offer approvals and provide guidance to the business
- Develop and deliver communication materials to educate employees on the organization's compensation philosophy, programs, and policies. Prepare compensation-related reports and presentations for the People team, stakeholders, and executives to provide insights and recommendations on compensation practices.
- 1-3 years of compensation and/or benefit administration experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Proficient in Excel/Sheets (including advanced functions) and experienced with HR systems (e.g., Workday).
- Excellent written communication skills
- Project management skills with the ability to improve processes and utilize data for decision-making.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $98,000 - $122,500. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
