Join us at Ventura TRAVEL – a group of specialized travel brands that unleash the adventurer in every person! We are currently looking for a Tour Operations Specialist to join Gustoventura, our brand focused on unforgettable culinary and cultural journeys. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our shared mission: creating and supporting meaningful travel experiences that make a positive impact on the world.

As a Tour Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and high-quality execution of our group tours. Your tasks will include coordinating and booking all key services such as accommodations, local guides, and transfers, while managing relationships with our existing partners and sourcing new providers when needed. You will also be in charge of negotiating service costs and maintaining accurate records of all expenses in our internal systems. Additionally, you’ll play an important role in developing new destinations by helping to identify and select the best local activities, accommodations, and experts.

At present, Gustoventura operates trips to Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece, but we are planning to expand to other Mediterranean destinations, and you’ll be part of shaping these new experiences. For this position, fluency in English is essential, as it is our internal working language. Proficiency in at least one of our destination languages—Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Greek—is also required, as it will enable you to effectively communicate with our local partners. The more languages you speak, the better! Availability to travel to our destinations is important, particularly during the peak travel seasons from March to May and/or September to November.

Please note that only applications submitted in English will be considered.

On a daily basis, you will:
  • Block and manage reservations for all services required for the trips under your responsibility

  • Check all related invoices and forward them to our Finance team for payment

  • Serve as the main contact person for service providers and tour guides assigned to your trips

  • Negotiate with service providers to ensure top quality and competitive pricing across our destinations in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece

  • Make cost-efficient decisions that do not compromise on the quality of the travel experience

  • Quickly resolve operational emergencies and provide real-time support to tour guides on the ground

The basics you bring along:
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems under pressure, especially during peak seasons

  • A tech-savvy mindset with curiosity and confidence in using new digital tools

  • Prior experience working with service providers in at least one of the destination countries

  • A collaborative and positive attitude—your colleagues enjoy working with you!

  • Fluency in English and in at least one destination language (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Greek)

You can impress us even more with:
  • Previous operational experience in one or more of the destination countries
  • A professional background in tourism operations or a similar role
What we promise you
  • Freedom to be creative in achieving results.
  • International & friendly working environment.
  • Quarterly Social Days and Team Events.
  • Work out of other offices in the Ventura network around the world.
  • Opportunity to constantly learn and grow.
  • We care about the well-being of your employees (regular O3, satisfaction surveys etc.)
  • Yearly 2-week-offsite, if we achieve our goals.
  • Participation in the overall company's profits.
