The Accounting team is seeking an Analyst for the Travel and Expense team who will be an integral part of professionalizing our global Procure to Pay processes. Given the nature of our globally distributed team, this role will be based in India, primarily in Bangalore. It's imperative that you enjoy working from home, or an unaffiliated coworking space if you do not live adjacent to an Elastic workplace.
What You Will Be Doing:You will be responsible to handle global employee expense claims review and approval along with email queries. You will collaborate with various teammates including GL Accounting, AR, tax, treasury, FP&A, internal audit, operations, and outside partners. In addition, you will:
- Assist in day-to-day activities relating to Travel & Expense process
- Assist with development and roll-out of global Corporate Card programs and system integrations.
- Analysis, reporting, responding to/resolving employee questions and issues.
- Monitor email queries and respond in 24-48 hours
- Connect with users on issues and assist with reconciliation.
- Ensure timely payments to card service providers.
- Prepare assigned month-end reports, reconciliations, and required journal entries.
- Drive continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives, system enhancements, new system implementations, and developing and documenting new processes
An eye for detail when it comes to accuracy within our systems and an ability to plan and organize to ensure we're supporting our employees on reimbursement process. Candidate is required to work from 2pm to 11pm IST time to support the global process.
You have experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment and you are no stranger to building and optimizing the processes vital to keep us growing without stumbling. In fact, you're excited to share some of the significant improvements you've made in past situations with us!
If that's you, hopefully you also have:- Any Graduation
- 5 to 7 years of professional Travel and Expense experience preferably with global and public companies with experience working on Concur
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Deep understanding of global T&E and Corporate Card programs, including experience with implementing new programs and processes.
- Ability to work in coordination with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to enhance performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills preferred, Google Workspace, and the ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
