The Travel Vlogger reports to the Director of Video for Editorial and Branded and will work with the video team to develop and star in our YouTube series around our airline, hotel and destinations franchises.

This person eats and sleeps the latest media trends, they stay on top of viral and pop culture moments and instinctively source them for storytelling techniques in our content. They have experience vlogging, content creating, or hosting and a basic understanding of camera systems and production workflows. They are both relatable on screen but can also offer unique insight and expertise in travel content for our audience.

This role will work closely with all members of our team to assist in creating distinctive and best-in-class videos. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative environment and has experience traveling extensively for production. They have a growth mindset, being able to give and receive feedback well to continue to better themselves and others. They are exceptionally organized, able to prioritize tasks and have experience operating under deadlines.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Senior Producer in building pre-pro packets including subject matter research, location clearances, influencer lists, shoot schedules, booking travel, story development, etc.
• Travel the world as on-camera vlogger talent for editorial travel pieces.
• Organize footage and project files during and after shoots with limited oversight. 
• Pitch and develop travel video content.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years vlogging, content creating or working as a Producer for a media brand. 
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for shoots.
• Knowledge of and experience in covering the travel, hotel, or airline industry.
• Follow and understand industry trends for optimized YouTube long form and short form video content.
• Basic proficiency in vlogging camera systems and story producing.
• Basic to intermediate photography skills (composition, exposure, and storytelling) is a huge plus.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills including experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
• A passion for the brand’s content.

Compensation:

• Cash Compensation Range: $50,000-$90,000* *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
