We are on a steep growth curve and are looking for a Treasury Manager who will be at the forefront of financial operations, playing a pivotal role in shaping our accounts receivables management processes. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic treasury team within a rapidly growing PropTech startup, where your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of our financial operations.
This position is open to residents of Lisbon and will work from 1200H to 2100H WET / Lisbon time, to overlap with our North America office. If interested, please send us your most updated CV in English.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts receivables and ensure collection of payments.
- Monitoring invoicing procedures.
- Creating and keeping records of invoices - deposits.
- Forecasting customer collections and creating reports on them.
- Providing support to accounts receivable associates on their daily tasks.
- Train and develop finance associates, including setting performance goals and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts receivables.
- Provide documentation and support as needed.
- Continuous Improvements Support in other Treasury Projects, ad hoc initiatives and providing insights to n+1.
Your Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, accounts receivables, or related financial roles.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer management and cross-departmental coordination.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite and MS Excel.
- Adaptability and Independence: Showcase a fast-learning attitude, independence, and adaptability to the dynamic nature of the startup environment.
- Detail-Oriented and Organized: Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of financial record-keeping to facilitate easy tracking and reporting.
- Pressure Handling and Role Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and effectively manage tasks under pressure, taking ownership of responsibilities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Display a willingness to go beyond the defined role when necessary to support team goals and objectives and implement process improvements effectively.
