About The Team:This role supervises the entire waste process, ensuring safe and efficient management while meeting Health & Safety and Food Safety standards. It involves overseeing the daily activities of waste and yard team operatives to enhance operational efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing:

● Lead the shift team to meet KPIs, foster a positive work environment, and assign tasks while monitoring performance and providing                                   feedback● Address team queries, liaise with HR or Training as needed, and model company values● Maintain and analyze waste KPI records to drive improvements and ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and operational standards● Solve problems, escalate issues, and coordinate service functions to ensure smooth operations in waste and yard areas● Conduct audits, implement continuous improvement processes, and support initiatives like inclusivity, well-being, and colleague engagement● Operate and manage equipment for waste operations, liaising with suppliers for repairs or service● Participate in or lead projects and undertake other role-related duties as required

Who You Are:

● Experience in manufacturing or distribution center operations, with practical knowledge of warehouse and production environments● Proficiency in computer systems and software, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills● Leadership experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or similar environments preferred, along with knowledge of food safety, quality control, and lean     manufacturing principles● GCSE English and Maths preferred● Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate a diverse team● Effective problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments● Excellent organization and time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Working Schedule: Wed - Sat 7pm-7am (night shift)
