We are looking for a UX Designer to lead our user experience who is passionate about working with a unique platform to make a positive real-life impact, globally. You are the lead, the subject matter expert, and the user advocate. You will design and create seamless experiences, with your deep understanding of user needs coupled with internal goals. From research and validation to collaboration and execution, you will work with an engaged and passionate team of Noggins across Product, Engineering, and all levels of Leadership – if you haven’t guessed it already, we love our product!

Conduct user research with our customers, gather feedback from your peers and stakeholders, and create clear, high-quality designs based on those insights to define and provide solid solutions. Your work will vary from widgets, dashboards, and mobile UX, to working with end users to improve their experience with our platform.

What does it take to be a UX Designer at Noggin?

You are a proven UX Designer with a commitment to excellence. You come with energy, expertise, and passion to create the best user experience there is. You know that success comes with open communication and feedback, teamwork, and with the end-user front of mind.

Your strong portfolio of complex workflows and application screens, coupled with high-quality visuals, speaks to your attention to detail, unique design lens and creativity. Ideally, you will have at least five years of experience in software applications UX, UI and Visual Design.

You are proficient in design tools and are an expert in design principles and best practices and your strong communication skills enable you to clearly articulate, translate, and justify design requirements, solutions, and decisions. You have a growth mindset and keep yourself up to date with the latest design trends and principles.

As this is a stand-alone role, you are comfortable in navigating multiple levels of stakeholders and come with a grounded, can-do attitude and approach.

What does success look like in this role?

During your first 3 months, you will become fully acquainted with our product, processes, and our people. This is key to understanding all the different areas that you’ll be working with.

Within 6 months you will be driving design changes and working with customers and users to constantly improve the user experience within our platform. You will start to build and solidify your reputation as a user advocate within the business.

At the 12-month mark, you will take lead of all UX designs for the platform, being our go-to subject matter expert.
