UX Designer

The ChallengeAs a UX Designer, you will work with Product Managers and Engineers to prioritize customer-focused solutions. You will gather user feedback to help understand perspectives, behaviors, and goals and utilize these insights to build end-to-end lovable experiences for our customers.
Your Mission- Receive high-level design direction and protect the customer’s experience on your squads.
- Help shape project goals - Be able to inform your sprint team counterparts what UX methods and activities will most aid in customer understanding in varying situations.
- Share progress and work through ideas with cross-functional and design teams.
- Demonstrate a sense of ownership and accountability in your team's work and outcomes.
- Meet with customers weekly to know and represent them in the SDLC process.
- Craft thoughtful UX writing to support your design solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in the end-to-end sprint process.
- Collect and analyze web-based analytics, conduct relevant user research and collaborate with Product Managers on evolving personas and use cases to inform your work.
- Conduct independent research to understand customer needs and test assumptions.
- Advocate for users across stakeholder touchpoints using collected user data to drive solutions.
- Create Eng-ready design deliverables using a component library or existing content so sprint counterparts can execute features every three weeks.
- Participate in agile sprint ceremonies to protect the intended customer experience.
- Use Sketch, Figma, Maze and other tools to create, share and test UX design assets.
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in UX/UI design
- You're a clear, concise, and persuasive communicator.
- You are driven by understanding user behavior and have experience designing complex experiences.
- You enjoy solving problems, learning, and collaborating with a design team.
- You have a portfolio of UX thinking to share.
- You have a learning mindset. You are intellectually curious with a desire to learn and grow.
- You work well in teams but can manage your time and execute independently.
- You enjoy being a subject matter expert.
- You know how to manage multiple data inputs and information sources.
- You understand the process of product development.
- You know how to collect customer data, perform heuristic evaluations, create journey maps, or employ other UX activities to inform usable and lovable products.
- You have performed usability studies to test your solutions.
- You have high standards and constantly upgrade your understanding of design thinking and UX best practices.
- You spend time understanding how and when a feature-level decision can affect the user's holistic experience and are ready to collaborate with your design team.
- You are comfortable conducting customers interviews

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
