Our designers work closely with clients to solve complex product design challenges. Our UX Design Practice focuses on understanding and optimizing traders’ workflows to deliver beautifully crafted, transformative desktop experiences. We are seeing a contractor to join a project with our New York team. This position is flexible to be remote as well.

YOU HAVE:
- Strong experience designing capital markets products/applications
- Experience consulting and engaging with stakeholders
- Understanding of electronic trading and financial markets
- Knowledge of using and maintaining design systems
- Ability to quickly design and prototyping using Figma
- Understand the value of a workflow-driven design process
YOU WILL:
- Understand the client's vision and strategic design goals.
- Deliver high quality visual design artifacts using Figma.
- Collaborate and communicate designs to client stakeholders and development teams.
- Solve complex design challenges based on industry expertise and best practices.
- Understand, extract and analyze requirements and business workflows.
- Transform workflows into beautifully crafted high-fidelity figma prototypes.
- Utilize, adapt and maintain design systems according to the clients branding.
- Iterate on designs, and present several concepts, based on client feedback.
- Work in a fast paced environment, while delivering polished high quality designs.
- Work closely with Adaptive’s Experience Design team for feedback and support.

THE PROCESS
Long interview processes are stressful and boring and that is not us 🙂We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
So here you will have four stage interviews:
1- A chat with one of our great recruiters.2- Review of your portfolio with Adaptive’s awesome UX team3- Final Round interview, which will include a Design whiteboard challenge with our local UX head of practice and another designer. An interview with one of our Business Analysts will focus on users, stakeholders, and understanding requirements, And finally a discussion with our local director. But don’t worry; everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter.
A little tip for you during those stages: Collaboration is massively important to us, so don't hesitate to share your thoughts, ask questions, ask for help if needed, etc

However, rate if hired will be determined on an individualized basis.
