Vice President, Technology
Critical Mass is seeking a VP, Technology to lead our Chicago-based team and accounts, including US Army, and support our AI practice. You will work alongside our technology leadership overseeing activities including technology strategy, platform architecture, micro-sites, precision marketing, and innovation. As the technical leader of the team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate talent, process, and tools for success. You’ll have direct input on the roadmap and be the steward of our technical solutions, aiming for the right balance of features, scalability, and maintainability.

You will:
- Lead and grow the “Pancakes” group of accounts and talent
- Be a contributing leader to our global AI and innovation practice
- Provide technical strategy and leadership within CM and to our clients
- Partner with other disciplines to elevate the digital experiences we deliver
- Support organic and new business growth
- Bring unique expertise to CM and leverage others’ expertise from across the org to drive innovation
- Oversee multiple projects and programs across technology platforms and establish efficient processes and procedures for improvement
- Contribute to and support CM Technology Discipline initiatives
- Directly mentor Technology Directors and Technology Leads, and indirectly guide the careers of their direct reports
- Willingness to undergo federal security clearance (CAC/T3)
You have:
- A post-secondary education in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Unique expertise that enhances CM’s ability to deliver experiences across the digital ecosystem
- Understanding of programming and architecture of large-scale projects
- Experience working with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, namely AEM, Target, and Analytics
- Managed multiple concurrent clients and projects alongside new business pursuits
- Worked as a part of a globally distributed team
- Acted as a public facing representative of your organization
- Experience working across multiple industries such as public sector, higher education, healthcare, and financial services
- Directly mentored managers and overseen distributed teams
