About the role

We are looking for a Vice President (VP) Finance - an experienced and sophisticated finance professional, ready to lead a dynamic team and drive transformative change, to join our global team based in Warsaw, Poland. You will lead a team of several people (based in Warsaw) and report directly to our CFO.

What would you do?

As Vice President (VP) Finance, you will be responsible for:

  • Creatively designing, implementing, and automating standardized processes and IT systems to optimize financial operations
  • IFRS accounting
  • Managing and executing audits on a tight schedule
  • Implementing private equity grade controlling practices, ensuring fast monthly closings, accounting for extraordinary expenses, and maintaining clean payroll accounting with fixed, commissions, bonuses, and accruals
  • Handling international tax matters
  • Overseeing multi-entity treasury operations, including significant bank loans
  • Managing international travel expenses efficiently
  • Building, leading and motivating high-quality team
  • Fostering a culture of embracing change and continuous improvement.
What we expect:
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role, with a strong understanding in at least a few of the following fields (not all are required): IFRS accounting, audit management, private equity-grade financial controls, international tax, and multi-entity treasury
  • A track record of successfully leading and inspiring teams to achieve business as usual with high performance
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve financial operations through standardized processes and IT systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Polish,
  • The ability to work from our Warsaw office at least 50% of the time
  • B2B or Software/Subscription professional background would be a plus
