Visual Design Lead
What’s the role
As a Visual Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the visual and interaction design of digital products, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with user needs, business goals, and product strategy.
This role is highly product-focused and requires strong UI expertise combined with a solid understanding of UX principles. You will work closely with Experience Designers, Strategists, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver impactful, scalable, and data-informed design solutions.
You will play a key role in translating user research, experience patterns, and strategic inputs into high-quality mockups, prototypes, and design systems, while guiding the team and collaborating directly with stakeholders.
What will you do
Design & Product Execution
- Design high-quality user interfaces for digital products, grounded in UX principles and product strategy.
- Translate user research, experience patterns, and business objectives into effective design solutions.
- Create impactful mockups and light interaction prototypes in Figma.
- Provide multiple design explorations and clearly articulate the rationale behind each concept.
- Ensure strong attention to detail across all deliverables.
Systems & Thinking
- Apply systemic thinking to design system strategies, componentization, and scalable solutions.
- Contribute to the conceptualization of digital products and experiences.
- Work with and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Experience Designers, Strategists, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead workshops, collaboration sessions, and definition sessions with internal teams and clients.
- Take ownership of execution plans and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
- Mentor and guide team members, supporting their growth and development.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Lead presentations and clearly justify design decisions.
- Communicate design rationale effectively, especially in English, to global stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to negotiate plans, explain pivots, and align on priorities.
- Integrate feedback into the design process while maintaining alignment with project goals.
What do we expect from you
- 5+ years of experience in UI/Visual Design with a strong focus on digital products.
- Strong UI skills with the ability to work comfortably within UX frameworks.
- Product-focused mindset with a data-informed and detail-oriented approach.
- High proficiency in Figma (mandatory).
- Experience in product conceptualization, design systems, and component-based design.
- Strong systemic thinking and ability to scale design solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ / C1 preferred).
- Proven ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
What’s a plus
- Experience working with large-scale design systems or enterprise-level products.
- Experience working with global clients or tech-driven environments.
- Familiarity with research-driven design processes and product experimentation.
