We’re looking for a Visual Designer to join our creative team, developing complex digital assets for one of the world’s biggest media brands in the consumer and B2B tech industry. You’ll work with a team of designers, product managers, marketing experts, engineers, and content strategists in a collaborative and fast-paced environment on a range of initiatives that include branding, user interface, social media, digital advertising, and editorial design projects. 

This will be a hybrid role with in-office expectations on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week out of our NYC or  Fort Mill, SC Headquarters office.

What We’re Looking For:

  •  A diverse portfolio and 3+ years of experience as a multi-disciplinary visual designer
  • A systematic approach to storytelling and brand visuals by utilizing creative ways in which images are used, composed, or illustrated 
  • Able to think beyond individual designs and into the development of systems and patterns that lead to new efficiencies
  • Expert in Photoshop and Illustrator. Proficiency in Figma and Figma design systems. AfterEffects knowledge a plus
  • ​​A strong background in graphic, illustration, and/or layout design
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to push the envelope of creativity 
  • Possess an understanding of marketing and advertising creative strategy, design principles around scale, hierarchy, negative space, typography, and user experience fundamentals
  • The ability to communicate clearly with peers and leaders across multiple disciplines
  • Passion for your craft, with an appetite to continue to challenge yourself and those around you
  • A team player with a positive outlook and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • An eagerness to adapt to or experiment with new software and technologies

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and deliver image assets for all types of digital media including but not limited to: on site, social platforms, email, paid marketing, and display ads
  • Use a combination of prototyping software (Figma), and design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) to build assets for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Make pixel-perfect adjustments to existing assets based on feedback, and adapt imagery across responsive breakpoints
  • Create compelling data visualizations to support our best in-depth content
  • Work and collaborate within a close-knit team in a fun yet fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Work within, and advocate for, the creative standards of each asset/channel
  • Share and document your knowledge and perspective with your peers
  • Partner with content designers, motion designers, and product designers to develop and utilize new layouts and imagery within established design systems
  • Present designs both virtually and in person to peers and cross-functional leaders

Compensation

  • Cash Compensation Range: $65,000 - 95,000* *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
