As a VP, Client Partner, you drive client success. Providing overall direction and leadership to the Client Services team can be difficult, but your tact and good judgement when interacting with others allows you to tackle the challenge. You have the curiosity of a senior level strategist and know what it takes to manage and grow Critical Mass’s visibility and presence in client relationships. Seasoned leadership skills help you develop a strong team with high energy, morale, and dedication. And working with and managing multidisciplinary teams across offices doesn’t make you sweat. Most importantly, you are a polished professional with a structured approach to business and client services that reflects the culture and capabilities of the agency.

This position is based in New York and not open to remote. 

You will:

  • Direct all aspects of your clients’ business.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate organic growth opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Own and drive revenue targets, ensuring consistent growth across your line of business.
  • Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset – leading your team and clients toward innovation and business impact.
  • Inspire and empower both direct and extended teams through clear vision, mentorship and leadership.
  • Champion excellence by ensuring all output meets Critical Mass’s high standards of quality and creativity.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by continuously exploring emerging trends in digital, AI and other emerging innovation.
  • Lead your team by understanding capabilities, managing performance and setting a strong example.
  • Strengthen client relationships by delivering on business objectives and client targets.
  • Contribute to agency growth through knowledge sharing, best practices, and succession planning.
  • Balance client priorities with agency goals.
  • Uphold and advocate for Critical Mass’s values and standards.
  • Ensure thoughtful and timely completion of performance reviews.
  • Foster collaboration, initiative and adherence to agency values.
  • Support team development through coaching and career planning.
  • Align financial and operational goals with the Executive Team.
  • Oversee strategic planning, fiscal management and organizational operations.
  • Drive account growth by expanding the client base and representing the agency externally.

You have:

  • 12+ years of Client Services experience in marketing, advertising, or consulting disciplines.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of planning and building digital experiences, eCommerce technology, analytics, content management, high level understanding of AEM and digital marketing
  • Proven ability to manage complex teams and client relations.
  • Strong leadership skill to motivate your team.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to react quickly, assess, and implement solutions.

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.Salary Range$190,000—$235,000 USD
