The PITCH

We’re looking for an experienced PR and communications leader to join us and lead all things PR for VaynerX. This role includes two key components - managing VaynerX’s corporate communications, and building VXPR as an agency offering for brand clients. You must LOVE all things social, and be passionate about the marriage of social and PR can play in building brands and connecting to audiences in an authentic way. This is an always on role that moves daily and will put you at the epicenter of culture.

Our teams are lean, and you will need to dip down to support the team in a hands-on capacity, but at the same time be able to delegate, making sure the day to day is being run smoothly and efficiently in order to deliver industry-leading PR work on a daily basis, on behalf of Vayner and our clients. You will be passionate about the work you do, about the agencies you represent and in doing so will be at the forefront of strengthening client & industry relationships across the global company.

Here’s where you come in.

This is an in person role based at VXHQ; Hudson Yards in NYC; but you’ll work seamlessly across all VaynerX offices and regions. You’ll deliver best-in-class PR strategies; sharpening the narratives of VaynerMedia and other VaynerX entities, while refining the VXPR narrative as an additional service offering for clients. You’ll manage a team of 5 PR professionals, with dotted-line reports in international markets.

On the corporate communications side, you’ll help drive talkability and reputation management for VaynerX companies - focused on the pillars of our philosophies, our work, our people, and our culture. This will include traditional corporate communications responsibilities - award entries, case study development, crisis management, and industry relations.

On the client side, you have a blank canvas! You’ll work closely with the CMO and the VXPR team to service our existing PR business and grow it significantly. With significant client demand across the globe, and a great team of current practitioners, this role will be responsible for driving new PR business, delivering excellent PR work that complements current Vayner client initiatives, and recruiting/developing a team to take this to the next level.

You will report directly to the Global Chief Marketing Officer.
