VP, Media (Strategy & Client Leadership)
As the Vice President of Media, you are an experienced, strategic, and forward-thinking leader responsible for overseeing the media department at our agency. In this executive-level role, you will guide the development and execution of integrated media strategies across all channels; including digital, traditional, programmatic, and social to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that drive client growth.
The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and deep media expertise. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver measurable results, mentor a growing media team, and play a key role in shaping the future of the agency’s media capabilities
You Will:
- Lead the development of omnichannel media strategies that align with client objectives, leveraging data, research, and audience insights.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire the media team, fostering strong performance, career development, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Serve as a senior strategic partner for key clients, contributing to high-level planning, presentations, and business reviews.
- Stay ahead of media and advertising trends, identifying opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools.
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, analytics, and account teams to ensure seamless integration of media into holistic campaigns.
- Oversee campaign measurement, attribution, and optimization to ensure KPIs are met and media investments deliver strong ROI.
- Support agency growth through participation in new business efforts, including pitch strategy, media plan development, and client presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, platforms, and technology partners to drive innovation and value for clients.
You Have:
- 10+ years of media experience in an agency or similar environment, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven expertise across paid media channels: digital, programmatic, social, search, and traditional (TV, radio, OOH)
- Strong understanding of media analytics, attribution models, and martech tools (Google Analytics, DSPs, DMPs, etc.)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen and a track record of strategic thinking and innovation
- Experience leading and scaling teams, including hiring and organizational design
- Comfortable presenting to C-suite clients and leading large engagements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field (Master’s a plus)
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in the recruitment industry
- Involvement in media-related thought leadership, panels, or industry organizations
- Hands-on familiarity with performance media and ecommerce platforms
