The Role:

We’re looking for a Product Marketing leader to be a key member of our marketing leadership team, responsible for leading the Product Marketing team at Pantheon. In this role, you will  develop and execute messaging, positioning and content strategy; demand programs and campaign assets; product value propositions to the target personas; product launches; sales enablement content and competitive programs that drive the awareness and demand for our products and solutions.

What you need to Succeed 

In this role, you will need to develop a deep understanding of our customers and prospects, our community, and the challenges they face. You will set the direction for how we communicate our value proposition and engage prospects from lead and account acquisition, engagement, pipeline acceleration, customer acquisition and retention. 

  • Build and execute a product marketing strategy to help build awareness and drive demand for our products and solutions in the market. 
  • Develop differentiated, value-based product positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with our target buyer persona using customer research and competitive insights
  • Create compelling content to help prospects and customers understand the value propositions, use cases and competitive differentiation.
  • Lead the content creation process for items including web content, collateral, demand gen assets, success stories, presentations, industry articles, press releases and more
  • Partner with our customer lifecycle, digital demand, and Field marketings team to drive cohesive customer journeys through targeted demand gen and nurture programs
  • Understand market trends, customer requirements, usage and buying behavior, and the partner ecosystem to better identify market opportunities and customer demand for our product offerings
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including product launches and field enablement
  • Provide input and strategy into product roadmap and pricing based on market and customer research finding, industry analyst interactions and competitive findings
  • Experience with creating ROI/TCO messaging and sales tools to help customers understand the value of Pantheon and make the business case for purchasing.
  • Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including sales, product management, digital marketing, PR and field marketing to create and support go-to-market initiatives

What you Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS Product Marketing experience. Evangelist or DevRel experience is also relevant.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the web technologies industry
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong experience writing unique and compelling content for a diverse set of influencer and decision-maker personas
  • 5+ years of progressive management experience, with an emphasis on leadership, and engaging stakeholders in product marketing role
