Strength in Trust

OneTrust’s mission is to enable organizations to use data and AI responsibly. Our platform simplifies the collection of data with consent and preferences, automates the governance of data with integrated risk management across privacy, security, IT/tech, third-party, and AI risk, and activates the responsible use of data by applying and enforcing data policies across the entire data estate and lifecycle. OneTrust supports seamless collaboration between data teams and risk teams to drive rapid and trusted innovation. Recognized as a market pioneer and leader, OneTrust boasts over 300 patents and serves more than 14,000 customers globally, ranging from industry giants to small businesses.

The Challenge

At OneTrust, we’re building a complex, global SaaS platform that powers trust intelligence, data privacy, security, and AI governance for thousands of customers. As our product suite expands and workflows become more sophisticated, our User Experience organization must continue to evolve. The challenge is balancing day-to-day execution with long-term strategy — ensuring we deliver elegant, intuitive design for a broad and diverse customer base while positioning UX at the center of how we define product value in the era of AI.

Your Mission

As VP of UX, you will:

  • Lead and scale a global UX organization of 40–50 people (with ~5 direct reports), including significant growth of our India-based team.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and AI leaders to define and execute a long-term UX strategy that simplifies complex workflows and drives consistent, modern design across our product suite.
  • Scane development and adoption of our UX component library, refresh design systems to reflect new AI capabilities, and ensure a more consistent user experience.
  • Ensure UX is tightly integrated into product development, from discovery and research through delivery and iteration.
  • Operationalize processes that balance research, core UX design, and content strategy, ensuring we consider the full spectrum of user experience — not just the interface.
  • Act as a strategic partner to executives while also ensuring operational excellence in how the team executes daily priorities.
  • Champion customer-centric design thinking that scales across enterprise SaaS and supports our vision of defining the future of UX in AI-powered products
You Are
  • A proven UX leader with experience in SaaS, AI, and complex workflow products, ideally with both small-company agility and large-scale organizational impact.
  • Skilled in building and managing global teams of 30–40+ designers, researchers, and content strategists, with experience hiring and developing talent across multiple geographies.
  • Adept at balancing strategic vision and tactical execution — you can define the future of UX at scale while ensuring your team delivers measurable impact today.
  • A collaborative executive who thrives in cross-functional environments (Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive teams).
  • Passionate about design, but equally focused on how to operationalize UX to scale effectively in a large, fast-growing organization.

Extra Awesome

  • Experience shaping UX beyond design, including content strategy, knowledge management, and AI-enhanced experiences.
  • A thought leader who can define UX in the world of AI — bringing vision to how design, content, and user interaction evolve in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Exposure to enterprise SaaS environments where complexity, scale, and global adoption require creativity and structure in equal measure.
  • A track record of mentoring and elevating design leaders, creating clear career pathways for both specialists and future product executives.
