About the Role

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for daily tasks that are required within data documentation for Warehouse tasks. They are required to manage the data in both Warehouse tools and on Google sheets. They will coordinate with the team to ensure all data is being done correctly and efficiently. They will ensure that all data discrepancies are being documented and reported accordingly for coaching and improvement. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving quality issues while working side by side with the Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Team.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure all incoming ingredients are received accurately; immediately report damages and quality issues.
  • Ensure that the storage areas and warehouse is kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved, and work practices amended.
  • Understands and ensures strong compliance of standard processes.
  • Supervises and disciplines crew as required. Leads by example by training, motivating and coaching.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the warehouse systems,  equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Implement corrective measures and resolve warehouse process gaps.
  • Ensure accurate proper and timely reporting of data to generate established KPIs
  • Continuously develops employees by coaching and providing insightful feedback. Document progress and ensure associates are cross trained to provide adequate coverage in key processes.
  • Ensure the information flow in warehouse systems & paperwork are done accurately and on time.
  • Manage company software and databases in order to execute warehouse processes & documentation.
  • Use forklift in a safe manner in compliance with Company Health and Safety Policy and oversee daily MHE(Material Handling Equipment) checks.
  • Support warehouse projects, system implementations and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to work on different projects.
  • Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer. 
  • Other duties as assigned

At a minimum, you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or related management work experience.
  • Minimum 1-3  years of warehouse experience in a food processing, manufacturing or service industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and Excel skills.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. Used to working in a high pressure, fast paced, and constantly changing environment.
  • An effective collaborator, who empowers and enables others to share ideas, raises awareness, gets buy-in, and delivers fast and well-rounded solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, able to prioritize and meet budgets deadlines and achieve objectives.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and video conferencing (Hangouts Meet).
