About the role

Wise Platform already boasts some incredible household brands as partners. We're now ready for someone to build and lead our first ever enterprise marketing team from the ground up to supercharge demand for our Platform. We'll be frank - this role is not for everybody. The right person will have experience in (and be excited by) starting from point zero which means owning the strategy and plan to achieve incredible results.

You’ll be supported by our team of marketing, events, PR and editorial specialists, but you’ll need to apply your experience of building a marketing strategy, measurement frameworks and creating exceptional sales enablement materials in order to drive growth for Wise Platform across our core verticals of banks, FinTechs and enterprise platforms. 

If you’ve worked in a startup environment before, you’ll be familiar with our culture of figuring out how to solve tough challenges for yourself. The main difference at Wise, is we already have a highly established product and a huge team available to support you where needed. 

Day to day you’ll lead the Wise Platform marketing team to coordinate efforts across product and partnership launches, as well as large scale in-house and external industry events. You’ll also own the results and measurement of our online and offline marketing.

The role is based in our London  office, but you will also work closely with Wise teams based in our offices around the world. 

Your Mission:
  • Own and deliver a global marketing strategy to attract, engage and acquire enterprise partners  
  • Work fully embedded within the Wise Platform team to implement and operate an account-based marketing strategy, to help the team effectively close key prospects 
  • Plan and deliver highly optimised marketing funnels and journeys for our priority verticals and prospects 
  • Become an expert in our Wise Platform product and deeply understand the pain points of our target audiences and key decision makers 
  • Build and lead a marketing team, capable of delivering ambitious plans across marketing collaterals, sales enablement materials, external event presence and internal event hosting.
  • Optimise a lead generation and lead nurture programme to increase the number of leads we receive in collaboration with our CRM team
  • Determine best practice for marketing measurement for enterprise deals with long sales cycles and payback timelines. Establish meaningful KPIs to measure growth and report on these monthly 
  • Own the P&L for our Wise Platform cross-channel marketing mix and determine the best combination of marketing channels to deliver the greatest impact 
About You:
  • You have proven experience delivering engagement and success with account-based marketing targeting banks, payments and enterprise companies
  • You have proven experience designing cross-channel marketing strategies and campaigns to support complex enterprise customer acquisition 
  • You’re a natural and experienced leader – able to build and develop a high performing team 
  • You’re analytical – data driven on where the team should be spending time and on scoping, sizing, prioritising and driving opportunities
  • You’re organised - able to deliver complex projects with international stakeholders on time and within budget 
  • You’re agile and motivated to test and learn fast, combining your knowledge of best practise and long term thinking with quick wins and performance improvements 
  • You’re experienced working with internal teams including Product, Business Development and Account Management teams to understand the end to end journey of a prospect/lead and how to remove friction or add support through marketing 
  • You’re a confident communicator, able to speak to colleagues and partners with conviction and clarity 
  • You’re experienced working in financial services: payments, banking, FinTech or B2B solutions targeting banks and enterprise platforms
  • You’re autonomous - you’re motivated by the bigger picture and the overall mission and proactively seek ways to contribute to this, seeking validation and feedback along the way 

 

Some extra skills that would be awesome
  • Worked in a startup environment previously or have had a broad focus across multiple partnerships streams
  • Highly familiar with the financial services and major regulatory landscapes and understand how the remittance landscape/international payments work today

 

Salary (annual)£72,500—£95,000 GBP
