WMS Lead Developer
Reporting into the Director of Product and Development within our Fulfillment Technology Team, this position will work on further developing solutions and integrations for our strategic warehouse management system (The Körber /HighJump-ONE Platform.)
The role involves a mix of technical and managerial responsibilities, with coding taking up 50% of the workload.
This position is eligible for hybrid onsite policy but is required to be seated in one of our US office locations [New York, NY, Boulder, CO] or at one of our primary manufacturing/ fulfillment center locations: Aurora, CO |Newark, NJ | Irving, TX| Swedesboro, NJ | Phoenix, AZ| Goodyear, AZ,| Aurora,IL. Travel to other fulfillment centers across the country as needed is not expected to exceed 10%
What You'll Do- Develop, review, and optimize code for new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and overall performance, scalability, and maintainability (50%).
- Design and implement solutions for WMS integrations, features, and reporting requirements in collaboration with business partners (e.g., operations, procurement, quality, and engineering).
- Manage development priorities, resource allocation, and team performance, including mentoring and oversight of direct reports.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and document materials to support software change control and releases.
- Collaborate with the WMS Services and Support team on code releases, technical configurations, and defect management.
- Support escalated software issue resolution and represent the WMS team in cross-functional initiatives.
- Assist leadership with special projects and strategic planning as needed.

- Willing and able to travel to different HelloFresh facilities as needed in support of projects or platform rollouts or to collaborate with peers.
- 5+ years of Koerber/ HighJump design and development experience with Advantage Architect, Advantage Link, Webwise Page Editor
- 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting a tier-one WMS in an RF based distribution, manufacturing, or e-com fulfillment environment
- High proficiency in SQL: complex queries, stored procedures, functions and database objects
- Experience with SQL Server administration, windows OS a plus
- Direct experience building and/or supporting HighJump integrations with external host or MHE applications
- Experience driving dashboards and reporting solutions in SSRS
- Experience with Bartender and Label Design a plus
- Experience with Jira and Github is a plus
- Industry experience in food/cold chain a plus
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering; masters degree preferred
