This role in a nutshell:

Sitting in the Workday Product Team at OVO, part of the Finance function, this role is part of a team providing system support to the entire OVO group, working closely with the Finance, Payroll and People functions to resolve user issues, configure system updates and implement new functionality.

 

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Being first point of contact for system access queries and requests
  • Working closely with the Workday team and the wider Finance function to understand business changes and provide system support
  • Working closely with the Workday team and the HR Business Partners to understand business changes and provide system support
  • Make technical changes and write basic reports - training will be provided on cross application services such as reporting and security
  • Opportunity to be involved in smaller system implementation projects
  • Helping to identify system issues to resolve user issues promptly and accurately
  • Responsibility for regular BAU tasks as required (such as master data changes), supported by the Workday Finance team 
  • Skilled in handling large amounts of data in Excel and making mass data changes to Workday 
  • Maintenance of system user guides

 

Within your first 6 months month you’ll:

  • Have a basic understanding of our critical Finance processes and controls
  • Have a basic understanding of our critical People team processes and controls
  • Be known in your business area and by key collaborators and partners
  • Be familiar with the use of OVO’s other key Finance and People related systems

 

You’ll be a successful Workday Administrator here at OVO if you…

  • Have an interest in pursuing a career in either Finance, the People team or in an ERP systems support function
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have experience of using Microsoft Excel or similar products
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to effectively organise, prioritise, and balance multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Able to adapt to a very fast paced changing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of a professional organisation
  • Ability to work independently being remotely managed
  • Self-starter and fast learner requiring minimal direction on a day to day basis.
  • Eagerness to learn and become a subject matter expert in our ERP system

We’ll pay you between £24,020 and £30,350, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
