- Supporting operational daily Accounts Payable business (including compliant processing of vendor bills and travel expense reimbursements) and Accounts Receivable (e.g. customer invoicing, revenue recognition and dunning etc.)
- Contribution to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (including notes/management report) as well as the local individual financial statements of the subsidiaries and the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Ensuring proper processing of vendor queries (e.g. payment reminder), employee inquiries related to (travel) expense reimbursements and customer requests
- Taking care of vendor/customer account reconciliation and maintenance of master data
- Owning the management of physical documents, including reviewing incoming mail, scanning and distributing materials accordingly
- Assisting strategic and operational Finance projects with the potential to fully own certain workstreams
- Research activities on accounting and tax matters to support decision-making
- Preparation of ad-hoc analyses
- You are currently based in or close to Munich and are enrolled in a German university program in either Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting Tax or similar
- Theoretical knowledge in accounting according to HGB/IFRS
- Strong interest in finance operations, administration and process optimization
- Very good MS Office skills and a general affinity for IT/tooling topics
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Strong analytical skills, structured process thinking and a natural affinity for numbers & data
- Independent, proactive way of working coupled with the ability to work in a team
- Any professional experience in the Accounting department of a company or in Audit/Tax consulting is advantageous
- Experience of working with an ERP system would be beneficial
- German-speaking/writing skills
