Your Mission:

Join us disrupting the international energy trading market!

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our Platform team and support us in growing our Data Platform. In this role, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop, maintain and optimize our data pipelines and analytics platforms. As part of this role you will also be evaluating new technologies and identifying opportunities to improve it such as introducing data quality checks to improve the reliability of the data ingestion processes. 

 

Your Responsibilities / What you’ll do:
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient processing of large datasets
  • Support the development and optimisation of ETL processes 
  • Develop data integrations, taking data from various sources, such as APIs, databases, and files, to be shipped into a data lake.
  • Perform data cleaning and transformation tasks, ensuring data quality and readiness for analysis.
  • Work closely with the teams to deliver high quality data to stakeholders.
  • Support in developing automated alert systems to monitor key metrics and identify anomalies in data pipelines or business processes.
  • Document processes and contribute to the team’s knowledge

Your profile / What you’ll need:
  • Experience working with SQL
  • Basic understanding of data engineering concepts (e.g ETL, data pipelines, data warehousing, schemas)
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python
  • Experience working with databases (e.g PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB) is a plus
  • Experience with AWS data technologies (e.g Athena, S3, Glue)
  • Acting on own initiative, autonomously
  • Fluent in English
