The Team:

Celonis AI Group (CeloAI) is a newly formed organization within Celonis that is dedicated to developing state-of-the-art AI/ML (and broadly intelligent) technologies for Celonis products (e.g., the Execution Management System / EMS) and empower enterprises and institutions to make intelligent business decisions and achieve operational excellence. Our dual mission focuses on both the immediate term goals of designing and implementing advanced AI/ML product features and solutions for our customers and the long term goals of establishing competitive advantages of Celonis for execution management.

We are a global organization with presence in both Germany and the US. CeloAI Germany has its presence in Munich, Darmstadt, and Aachen.

The Role:

As a Working Student Machine Learning, your main mission is to support the design and development of product features, along with the underlying infrastructure, along with the underlying infrastructure, that are based on AI/ML approaches. You interact closely with software engineers, product managers, and with the Go-to-Market organization, to build scalable and high quality AI/ML features and solutions for our customers.

The work you’ll do:

• Design and develop scalable and high quality AI/ML models or otherwise intelligent approaches that power our Process Copilot
• Design and build APIs and infrastructure to serve such data at scale and with low latency
• Contribute to the development of robust and low latency infrastructure to train and serve the AI/ML models

The qualifications you need:

• Student of computer engineering, data science, business informatics, mathematics, or a comparable degree program
• Strong coding skills in Python and are familiar with the libraries for data analysis, modeling, and visualization
• Ideally have a first experience with deploying ML pipelines in production (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes is a plus) and building data-centric applications
• Visionary and don’t lose focus even in a fast-changing and dynamic environment
• Passionate about developing scalable and efficient AI/ML solutions, particularly working with LLMs in the context of Copilots
