The Workplace Operations Specialist II is critical in ensuring that the office environment and onsite services are productive and aligned with the strategic objectives of the company. By managing operations within their market, interacting with local stakeholders, and driving key workplace initiatives, the role directly contributes to enhancing employee experience and supporting business units effectively. This position requires a blend of independent work, operational management, and efficient interpersonal skills to successfully manage Workplace operations within their market, aligning local needs with global standards.

 

What you'll do:

  • Manage Workplace services for the office, including, janitorial, office supplies, maintenance, events and others as needed
  • Create and implement projects and programs to support the business. Act as the In-Market Leader for the Workplace team, localize services for offices, and make necessary adjustments. Solve problems strategically by understanding their business impact and engaging stakeholders to set the project and program vision.
  • Partner with security, health and safety, and events teams to support onsite operations and employee experience
  • Support the development of Workplace programs, projects and initiatives
  • Independently plans and executes various types of events, ensuring an engaging attendee experience, and can provide technical guidance to peers, if needed.
  • Build partnerships across Pinterest to create onsite engagement and promote company business objectives
  • Maintain communication with landlords and local stakeholders to address any office-related needs
  • Partner with real estate, development and compliance teams to ensure operational needs are met for any tenant improvement work, new construction, expansion and other workplace initiatives

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working in facilities, office management, and/or workplace services
  • Experience working with vendors and coordinating with cross-functional departments
  • Experience managing internal and external events 
  • Intuitive knowledge of working with all levels of management
  • Experience with efficient communication and customer service needs

  • This role will need to be in the office 5 days a week and therefore must be situated in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
