Workplaces LeadFastly’s Employee Experience team is on a mission to provide an engaging and motivating employee experience where every Fastlyan feels informed, connected, and valued. We design, curate, and deliver global programs and experiences that fuel employee success, which ultimately drives Fastly’s success.
This position will be responsible for the physical and experiential environment in our Fastly Denver office. In addition to executing our team strategy in Denver, you will collaborate across the Employee and Workplace Experiences team. You will contribute to event programming and other employee engagement projects. We are a dynamic team working to reimagine the future of work at Fastly.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure the Denver workplace is highly organized and runs smoothly. Tasks include:
- Oversee all purchasing to ensure catering, snacks, beverages, and other supplies are stocked
- Act as first point of contact for all internal and external visitors
- Proactively maintain an optimal workplace environment, identifying any repairs, maintenance, or updates as required
- Act as the main point of contact for all Workplace vendors, including building management, contractors, and janitorial staff.
- Provide support to various teams by assisting with event setup, coordinating onsite team meetings and conference room technology. Maintain the workspaces and conference rooms to ensure they are consistently prepared for employee use.
- Prioritize and complete ad-hoc projects and assignments in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner
- Respond to employee feedback and inquiries through our ticketing system, JIRA
- Work with IT on office hybrid events, conference room and office tech and any maintenance or upgrade works as required
- Partner with our Health & Safety manager on office security, risk assessments and emergency response processes.
- Create an engaging employee experience for Fastly employees that is aligned with company objectives and employee experience goals to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Including to:
- Plan and execute social events for Denver-area employees (i.e. holiday parties, Fastly traditions, and milestone celebrations)
- Collaborate with EX Leadership and teammates on global and virtual events, experiences and programs
- Partner with Denver site lead and EX Leadership on employee engagement activities
- Maintain fiscal responsibility by planning all experiences and events within budget and tracking and submitting experiences in line with company guidance and policy
What We're Looking For:
- 2-3 years prior experience in any of the following: event planning, an administrative role, office management, facilities management or other hospitality/customer service experience (experience in more than one of these areas is advantageous).
- You’re a problem solver. If you’ve never done it before, you jump in head first. You are proactive, resourceful and accountable
- You are comfortable reporting to a remote manager and capable of operating autonomously within standard guidance
- You have exemplary communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- You pride yourself on being adaptable and comfortable with change
- You possess an aptitude for staying focused on priorities in a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on your ability to manage the finest of details
- Skilled at adapting to project constraints and resolving problems on your own; ability to work independently
- You have good attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills including Google Workspace, JIRA, Slack and Zoom

This position will require you to be in our Denver office 5 days per week and available during core business hours - typically between 8am and 5pm.

Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $75,550 to $90,660.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
