That’s where you come in.We’re looking for the next pen behind the Pin for our Performance Marketing campaigns. You're right for this role because you have tons of experience crafting compelling, urgent copy that changes people's minds. You’re skilled at turning big concepts into buzzworthy headlines, timely social copy and culturally relevant captions. You love digging into a brand and know what it takes to distill a big message into a punchy tagline. In every project, you're known to "wrap your arms" around the work—and have an eye on every detail (typos and word echos, be gone!).This is a Fixed Term Employee position focused on performance marketing campaigns for our France market. This role is part-time, contracted for 20 hours per week.
What you'll do:
- Craft compelling copy and concepts for Pinterest’s performance marketing campaigns.
- Write a range of strategic, snappy copy, from taglines and CTAs to app store descriptions and paid social captions.
- Blend data and creativity. Use real-time results to learn what works, and use that to inspire your next round of creative.
- Partner with passionate designers, producers, creative directors and marketers on performance campaigns to create impactful work for our France market.
- Present your work to senior stakeholders with confidence and collaboration.
- Weigh-in at workshops and Creative Team meetings. Debate the fate of words!
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of copywriting experience, especially brand voice and B2C performance campaigns.
- Fluency in French speaking, reading and writing.
- A trusted pen: An exceptional writer who knows what makes an award-winning tagline, message and concept—and can write all three.
- Autonomy: You can move work along on your own, and know when to loop in your manager or creative director for visibility and guidance.
- You obsess over analytics. You care about testing and you love learns.
- Detail-oriented writer who “aims for extraordinary” even in the first draft.
- You already “get” the Pinterest voice and what makes us different. Empowered by our brand guidelines, you’ll be fluent in it within a few weeks. You have experience writing across different brand voices.
- You have a pulse on current culture and social media trends. You get a kick out of writing the most culturally relevant copy and can write timely social copy on a whim.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.

- We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments. What this looks like day-to-day can vary based on the needs of each organization or role.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
