ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Account Manager will deliver briefs across print, press, email, digital and social channels. Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Manager is part of a team of 12 with varying skill sets. You’ll have responsibility for your own scope of work and play a key part in delivering a high-volume of work across multiple channels.

The successful candidate will be well versed at developing and maintaining excellent client relationships, from marketing executives to senior management, to find and create innovative solutions according to their needs. The role is challenging, yet rewarding, and there are great opportunities to shape and grow our account.

 

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

  • You are an advocate for promoting positive sustainable behaviours and able to put a sustainability lens on the strategic and creative process.
  • You will be open and willing to attend Change the Brief training and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects. Working with your clients to understand and interrogate new briefs, working with the Senior Account Manager & Account Director to manage pipeline of work, preparing production-ready briefs for creatives, allocating required resources/traffic management, designing project plans for delivery, and ensuring the accurate interpretation of client feedback during the creative process. You will ensure project plans are communicated internally and externally for stakeholder alignment, whilst identifying and mitigating against project risks at all times.  
  • You will work in true collaboration with the client to establish a deep understanding of the business; their needs, expectations, and requirements in order to provide first-class service and positive client experience. You will be proactive and forward-thinking, working closely with your clients to forecast in-line with activity priorities and scope of work.  
  • You will be responsible for brand guardianship, working closely with your clients and internal studio team to create strong concepts from initial briefing, provide insightful feedback and understand requirements for efficient & successful high-quality delivery of assets. Have a deep understanding of the business, their needs, expectations, and requirements to provide the best service and solutions through a close partnership with the client.

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • An experienced account handler at Account Manager level.
  • Experience in high-volume production briefs.
  • Great attention to details as you will oversee process.
  • Articulate and engaging and generally a natural in front of senior clients. 
  • The ability to manage the flow of projects within the studio through their various stages; creating timelines, schedules, resource planning, managing costs/budgets.
  • To be able to maintain the high standards instilled by OLIVER’s client centric approach, entailing collaboration with the client on a Creative and Operational level.
  • To be able to identify new opportunities above the agreed scope of work.
  • The ability to challenge the client when necessary, whilst maintaining a positive relationship and ensuring we are always adding value.
  • Be confident when discussing creative, offering your viewpoint and opinion to help shape the best creative output from the team.
