As HelloFresh grows, so does our Finance team! We in Finance like to think of ourselves as allrounders. We not only look to be experts on all things accounting standards and what this means for the business, but we also aim to consult and add value on workflows and decision making throughout the entire business. As an Accountant joining our growing and collaborative Finance & Legal team, you will be able to make an immediate impact, contributing to the Nordics accounting processes reporting to our Head of Finance - both day to day activities and looking ahead!

• Prepare and post month-end journals
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations and cash reports
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare intercompany charges and lodge VAT returns
• Work with broader departments (procurement, marketings, ops, etc) to ensure accurate data inputs which drive accounting judgements
• Liaise with group teams in berlin to ensure best practices locally
• Support in automation projects across the team
• Manage remote operational headcount in manila
• Support the budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis process

• Passion, drive and excellent communication skills
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent 
• A strong working knowledge of accounting concepts and standards
• 3+ years experience working in the finance industry
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced business and a role which involved physical goods and inventory is a plus
• An eye and appreciation for detail and an understanding of data structures and complex systems/workflows
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets (experience with SQL would be advantageous)
• A keen interest in financial systems with exposure to an ERP system
